Competitive models of European Club Competitions

The Rink Hockey Technical Committee of World Skate Europe is releasing the official communication for the competitive models of European Club Competitions, Euroleague, Female League Cup and WS Europe Cup. The draw is scheduled for Saturday 11th September 2021 at 9.00 in Paredes (Portugal) and broadcasted live on World Skate Europe TV.

EUROLEAGUE
20 teams are registered in the competition
Portugal: Sporting CP, FC Porto, OC Barcelos, SL Benfica, UD Oliveirense, SC Tomar, AD Valongo – Spain: Barça, Deportivo Liceo, Reus Deportiu, CH Caldes Recam Laser, CE Noia – Italy: Amatori Wasken Lodi, HC Forte dei Marmi, GSH Trissino, H.Sarzana – France: Saint Omer, La Vendeenne, US Coutras – Switzerland: RHC Diessbach
First phase of the qualification is based on 4 groups of 5 teams. After a single way round from October to February, the best two classified in the groups will be qualified to the second phase of qualification (“Best 8”). It consists of 2 groups of 4 teams played in a single way in March and April and the best two of every group will play the Final Four (14-15 May)

FEMALE LEAGUE CUP
10 teams are registered in the competition
Spain: Generali HC Palau, CP Voltregà, Martinela CP Manlleu, Telecable HC Gijon, Cerdanyola CH – Portugal: SL Benfica, AD Sanjoanense – France: CS Noisy Le Grand, US Coutras – Italy: Roller Matera
2 groups of 5 teams, with only a round played (2 matches at home, 2 matches away), will define the best two of every group for the Final Four. The group phase will start at the start of January (day 8) and will finish on April 2. 30 April and 1 May are the days when the Final Four is scheduled. 

WS EUROPE CUP
12 teams are registered in the competition
Spain: CE LLeida LLista, CP Voltregà, CP Calafell, Igualada HC – France: CS Noisy Le Grand, HC Dinan Quevert, Poiree Roller – Portugal: AD Sanjoanense, AJ Viana – Italy: Follonica H. 1952, HC Valdagno – Switzerland: Geneve RHC
The first phase of qualification, 4 groups of 3 teams for a total of 6 matchdays from October to March. Then the best two of every group will play a quarterfinal with 2 legs (March 26 and April 9). The Final Four date is changed to allow the second phase and set for April 23-24.
