Viareggio host the first Final Four of the Continental Cup


The European Cups season starts, as usual, assigning the Continental Cup, the “opening event” that leads to an amazing series of international competitions for clubs.
For the first time in rink hockey history, the Continental Cup will be assigned with a Final Four, the appreciate and lucky format already in use for Male and Female Euroleague and Cers Cup. 
The first Continental Cup Final Four will be held in Viareggio (Italy) tomorrow and Sunday.
The four participating teams are the finalists of the two male European Cup: Reus Deportiu (from Spain, winner of the Euroleague in Lleida) and UD Oliveirense (from Portugal, finalist), OC Barcelos (from Portugal, winner of the Cers Cup in Viareggio) and CGC Viareggio (from Italy, finalist).SCHEDULE
In the semifinals, the winner of a cup will play against the finalist of the other. So, the semifinals of tomorrow are:
OC Barcelos vs UD Oliveirense (6.00 PM CET – Referees Josep Ribò and Ivan Gonzales from Spain)
Reus Deportiu vs CGC Viareggio (9.00 PM CET – Referees Josè Pinto and Paulo Almeida from Portugal).
The winners of the two semifinals will play for the Continental Cup on Sunday, starting at 8.30 PM CET).
