Four portuguese teams will fight to conquer the 55th European Title

341

The Final Four of the Euroleague is now imminent to be played in the same pavillion as the first phase, Pavilhao de Luso (Portugal). Even without the presence of the public who will be the real big absentee in Europe’s top competition, European Hockey will have its new winner on Sunday, thus succeeding Sporting CP as the last winner of the trophy. It is certainly an anomalous final four, where the rink factor for the first time in history will not be fundamental. The physical condition and intensity that the four participating teams will put on rink will be fundamental. Benfica, Oliveirense, Porto and Sporting will played in 50 minutes (and any two extra times of 5 minutes and any penalties) this anomalous European hockey season, without a regular phase but with the first phase with only 9 clubs. The same 9 clubs will also be the organizers of the event in this Final Four.

Benfica, Porto and Sporting are also in the running for the Portuguese Championship, all three qualified for the semi-finals. Only Oliveirense has failed to access it and will probably take to the games for the last match of the season with another charisma. The game expressed by Benfica in the first phase about a month ago is still a pleasant memory, but also Porto and Sporting, let’s not forget the last two finalists, can and will have to say their own. The parade of great champions can only be seen on television and everything will be broadcast in Portugal by the first national network, RTP1. On TV you can also see on RTP Internacional and RTP Africa while broadcasting it on the web the World Skate Europe platform. Starting at 17:00 (Portuguese time) the “North Derby” between FC Porto and UD Oliveirense, and from 21:00 the “Lisbon derby” between SL Benfica and Sporting CP. The final will be played at 17:30 (18.30 CET) between the two winners. The hope is to follow three big games with the best hockey in the world.
