The third and fourth place match of the Senior Men European Championship 2021 in Paredes (Portugal) between Portugal and Italy was not held. In due course, the World Skate Europe Rink Hockey Technical Commission informed that the third and fourth place match had been cancelled due to public health reasons, namely due to the pandemic situation of COVID 19.
In view of the vagueness in the final standings of the Senior Men’s European Championship 2021, at meeting on January 25, 2022, World Skate Europe Rink Hockey Technical Commission determined to award the third place ex aequo to the two national teams, so 3rd place medals will be sent to each Federation
