Europe is currently experiencing another complex moment in pandemic terms, caused this time by the OMICRON variant.
The current expression of the virus and its level of transmission, determines the high degree of uncertainty in which we live and leads World Skate Europe (WSE), aware of this phenomenon of difficult resolution, to immediately assume a set of preventive measures, but at the same time with clear signs that we will do everything to maintain active the European Club Competitions throughout this sports season
PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS
1. WSE will be making surgical adjustments to the schedule, which aim to safeguard the integrity of all those involved in the competitions, but at the same time not to tamper with or overload the previously defined at European level and, consequently, at National level.
2. We thus intend to safeguard the assumed competitive framework with minimal changes.
3. The execution of these measures implies a change in the appointments of the refereeing teams, to increase the certainty of the staging of the matches.
Thus, until the quarter finals of the various competitions, the referees are from the country of the visited team, to ensure the matches are played and avoid air travel that could jeopardize its realization.
4. It is important that all agents involved in these competitions understand that we want to safeguard the public health and avoid the risk of transmission of infection and create the best conditions for the maintenance of the competitions..
