[UPDATE] two more clubs are available to play: Riba de Ave (Portugal) for WS Europe Cup and C.A.C.O (Portugal) for Female League Cup
In recent weeks after the stop of European Rink Hockey activity due to the problems related to the health provisions of European countries to counter the spread of Covid-19, the European Committee of Rink Hockey of World Skate has never stopped working to try to build and organize the future of the European Cups, starting from March 2021. In last days, European clubs have been asked to indicate whether they want to continue the activity, especially after the update of the Covid-19 regulations presented by WSERH. Another key point for playing again is the mandatory to play with a negative PCR test within 72 hours before the game, so as to allow the fight against the spread of the virus. The third point requested was the release from the competition if a team was unable to proceed with the match, while the fourth was the insertion of new dates to play the scheduled matches compared to the original calendar. All these points have been approved by the following clubs that have given a positive request to continue the activity.
Euroleague: Barça (Spain), OC Barcelos (Portugal), SL Benfica (Portugal), HC Deportivo Liceo (Spain), CE Noia (Spain), UD Oliveirense (Portugal), FC Porto (Portugal), Reus Deportiu (Spain), CP Sporting (Portugal)
WS Europe Cup: CP Calafell (Spain), CH Caldes (Spain), Girona CH (Spain), Igualada HC (Spain), CE Lleida Llista (Spain), H. Sarzana (Italy), Riba de Ave HC (Portugal)
Female League Cup: SL Benfica (Portugal), Cerdanyola CH (Spain), Telecable HC Gijon (Spain), CP Manlleu (Spain), Generali HC Palau (Spain), HC Stuart Massama (PortugaL), CP Voltregà (Spain), C.A.C.O. (Portugal)
In the coming days WSERH already has scheduled several video meetings with the Federations and clubs involved in the European Cups to define the formula and game calendars.
