Porto & Sporting gain the first three points. Barça and Liceo, an intense tie

The first matchday presents us already with two teams able to qualify for the Final Four.  In two matches, the winners had a difficult start. Porto suffered a tremendous 0-3 against Noia, but patiently and raising the rhythm they managed to overcome their opponent in the second half by finishing the game 7-4. The most important goals were scored by Barroso, Alves and Carlo Di Benedetto (2 goals), while for the spanish scored three goals (the best goalscorer so far) the young Manrubia. Coach Freitas’ Sporting made things clear by signing 2-0 straight away. However, Reus patiently managed to recover early in the second half with Alex Rodriguez (2 goals). The “green-white” team managed the times better and managed to score with 5 players, Font, Pinto, Souto, Perez and Romero, demonstrating an excellent team closeness. Intense tie between Spanish duel Barça-Liceo, 2-2 but nobody gain the three points of the victory. The Group B seems to be the more balanced game in this event. Tomorrow other three games could be define the qualification to the Final Four.
