Porto-Sporting will decide the Euroleague winner again

481

The Euroleague Final number 55 will still be Porto-Sporting, just like two years ago, played at pavilhao Joao Rocha in Lisbon. Final will start at 17.30 (PT) 18.30 (CET) in Live TV on RTP1. A very intense semi-final day that reserved a lot of emotions. In the semi-final before, Porto managed to recover a game that looked lost after a 4-0 conquered in the first 15 minutes of the game. Cabestany’s team patiently managed to close out the first half at 4-3 which totally changed the game after the shock start. In the second, Oliveirense tried to score another goal but Porto found itself and managed to make an incredible comeback from 0-4 to 6-4 under goals from Di Benedetto and Barroso.
The Lisbon derby was won by Sporting, but Benfica have never been so close to the Final, always ahead in regulation time, only in overtime they found a more incisive opponent. A balanced match where competition was dominant. Two goals from Argentines Ordonez and Platero, especially in overtime where 4 goals were scored in the 10th minute. In the penalty shootout, Italian Verona scored the two decisive penalties against one of Argentina’s Nicolia for the 7-6 finale after the 3-3 draw and the 2-2 overtime
