Portugal another large victory, Spain beats Italy 6-0

Portugal is now only at the top of the standings of the 15th European Women’s Championship underway in Luso (Portugal). Helder Antunes’ team made their second consecutive goal, beating Stephane Herin’s France 10-1. The hosts showed already in the first half to play high rhythms and in the second half they stretched up to 9-1. Three goals for Marlene Sousa and Maria Sofia Silva, two for Ferreira and one for Santos, instead first french goal scored by Daribo.
Excellent debut for the 5-time European champions who fold Italy, winner yesterday against France, for 6-0. Ricard Munoz’s team had many difficulties in the first half, when the Italians were able to limit the Spanish girls, even touching the goal of the draw, after Borras’ goal. In the second half, however, Spain raised the pressure and Italy had to defend the result of 3-0 which then in the final became 6-0. Doubles for Casarramona and Roces and goals by Borras and PuigduetaTomorrow two matches with the intense fight between Portugal and Italy at 20:00 GMT, 21:00 CET). Spain will play against England at 17:30 GMT 18:30 CET. All the matches will be broadcasted live through europe.worldskate.tv and for Portugal tv.fpp.pt, for Spain feptv.es and for Italy hockeypista.fisrtv.it
