Gijon and Palau are very near to the qualification to the final four: they need only a draw in their games against the french teams, but they need also to score more than the opponents because in case of an equal score in the final standing, the goal average of entire the competition will be decisive because in the direct matches between them, the points and the goal averages are the same. Instead the more interesting match of this fifth matchday will be Voltregà-Benfica, where the home team will try to return in the run for the qualification, but the Almeida’s team need only a point to assure the qualification to the final four. Also the spanish leader Manlleu need only a point in the away match in France, where in the first leg they won for 15-0.
