Eight teams will be protagonists of the 6th edition of European Tournament for Clubs of the category Under 17 Female, from thursday to sunday. The city of Molfetta will host this year, returning in Italy after 3 years when Breganze hosted the 3rd edition. Molfetta is a city in the south-east of Italy, a traditional region for rink hockey for 50 years and the host rink will be Palasport “Nunzio Fiorentini” or PalaFiorentini (500 seats). This edition will be dedicated to Nunzio Fiorentini, one of the most important presidents of the life of the rink hockey in the city, died in 2012 after 15 years in this club. Molfetta and all the south zone of Italy have given life to many international players for the women’s section and now they want to return to the old great splendour. The 5th edition, one year ago, has won by Cerdanyola, also the host team. Matarò, Eagle Team and the home team Pink 2019 Molfetta Matera, confirmed their presence in this tournament as the latest year. 6 countries will join this tournament, England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain one of the best results of this tournament. Thursday and Friday the qualification phase with the eight teams divided in two groups, CH Matarò, Areces Ecopilas Pavitek Asturhockey, Eagle Team and Pink 2019 Molfetta Matera in the Group A, Observar e Validar Futuro, Sferic Terrasa, England RHC and Espoir Ligerien. Then Saturday and Sunday the final phase, with Semifinals and Finals on Saturday, then Sunday the final for the medals.
SATURDAY SYMPOSIUM: DEVELOPMENT OF FEMALE RINK HOCKEY IN EUROPE
Saturday at 19:00 CET will be organized a Symposium in Hotel Garden Molfetta. Speakers: Luis Senica, president of skating portuguese federation; Gianni Massari, coach of Italian national team and Susana Pandavenes, as the WSE-RH female competitions manager. This event will be covered live on www.cers-rinkhockey.tv
